Gleeson Homes Complaints Website...

This is an independent website which has been set up by Robert Agar-Hutton to allow people who own a home built by Gleeson Homes (Click here to visit their website) to let off steam... and hopefully to persuade Gleeson Homes to be a little bit more responsive to their customers' needs (but don't hold your breath).

12th October 2010 !!!

The roads have been tarmacked - AT LONG LAST !!!! - Now I understand that the delay in finishing the surfacing of roads is very common on new estates but over THREE YEARS - Still it's done and I must say they seemed to do a very professional job of it. Although, it may be noted that the company who did the work are NOT Gleeson Homes !!!  Remember the letter from Gleeson Homes saying the work was to be done was received in May.

10th May 2010 - Letter from Gleeson's stating

"We will be commencing the sewer adoption remediation workds wee commencing 24th May 2010. This could result in some minor disruption but we will endeavour to keep this to a minimum.

"The surfacing works will be programmed to follow on shortly after this.

Needless to say we are now as at the 17th September 2010 still waiting for the surfacing and the works on the sewers has left RAISED ironworks all over the site!!!

AS ALWAYS:

I would be most happy for Gleeson Homes to respond to any of the issues presented here and will print (unedited) any responses that they care to issue. It is my intention that this site be in every way fair, honest and open in the matters discused herein. Obviously I only report third party stories as they are presented to me and I have no way of knowing the exact facts - again if Gleeson's wish to present their side of any story, I will be delighted to publish it...
